What makes Vis one of the most attractive vacationing destinations for escaping the daily routine and life are its numerous coves, sandy and gravely beaches and hidden bays that you can’t reach effortlessly but they are worth searching for.

Kupinovac Mali – This is, according to many the most beautiful beach in the vicinity of Komiza. It is so beautiful that not even Greta Garbo could resist it. The beach is specific for its big white pebbles and big rock plateau where you can settle down on and sunbathe. It is located south from Komiza centre (5-6 beaches away from Kamenica beach) but can be reached only by sea.

Kamenice – A popular beach on the most southern part of Komiza (15 min from the centre of Komiza on foot). Apart from the clear sea, pebbles and the fact that the beach has sunlight until 20:00 it is also special since it is the only beach on the Adriatic of volcanic origin. There is also fresh spring water on the beach that drips from the volcanic cliffs that are green in colour. There is a cafe bar on the beach that turns into a night club in the evening.
